When we ask the name of the school from which they “graduated,” we sadly discover the school is not accredited.

Some students will spend between $600 and $1,000, along with several months of valuable time, to complete an online high school program from a school that is not accredited.

As a branch campus of NMSU, our admission policy is fairly liberal, but you must graduate from an accredited high school or successfully completion the GED (or a home school program) to be admitted to the campus.

We have a tremendous resource in Alamogordo that can readily help if you have not graduated from high school. The resource is the Adult Basic Education (ABE) office located at the Tays Center on the NMSU-A campus. The services are free. GED testing currently costs $50 for the complete battery.
