Norristown-based cyber charter school signs 10-year deal

A Pennsylvania cyber charter school has signed a 10-year partnership with a curriculum source.

Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School, based in Norristown, will use a research-based curriculum from K12, a technology-based education company in Herndon, Va. The curriculum combines interactive online courses, printed materials, offline activities and assessment tools that provide students an educational experience.

The curriculum can be customized for each child, and schools can provide individualized learning programs for each student.
